This is probably the shortest post I've ever done on JB but I just loved these illustrations by Jerico Santander so short, sweet and to the point, here you are.

I love these photorealistic still life paintings by contemporary dutch artists Roeloft Smelt ( first 2 ) and Johannes Eerdmans.The subjects are crisp and vibrant yet exude a serene overall atmosphere. More info here.

Artist: Wendy Paula Patterson

Wendy Paula Patterson is a very talented illustrator and graphic artist living in Sydney but who is "quintessentially British with a fine sense of humour and an ecclectic taste in French Vintage and antique ephemera". This is certainly evident in her wonderful creations which include stationary goods and prints under the names Mulberry Muse and Cafe Baudelaire and she has a delightful blog as well. I really love her holiday cards which are whimsical and fresh with out being overly sentimental.

Artist: Karen Appleton

Love these gorgeously painted images of, primarily, wrapped gifts by american artist Karen Appleton.What a creative idea for subject matter...the possibilities are endless and they make for beautiful and engaging works of art. Karen admits to being drawn back repeatedly to bows and I hope she never loses that fascination.She certainly does it justice.
