Hat Couture by Maison Michel

I must admit I'm not usually a hat person, although with my troubled hair I should be.The couture confections created by Maison Michel in Paris has changed my mind.These creations take hats to a new level and could completely carry and outfit, in my opinion.I just have to work on that French air of panache to carry it off. Vincent Bakkum is an artist and illustrator that is from Holland but lives in Helsinki.He adores using women as his subjects and it shows. I'm drawn to his bold use of color and the way he lends texture to his pieces.....and the birds and flowers are a lovely feminine touch which is exactly my style.
