An English Country House

This is my idea of the ideal country home.I love the neutral palette and pale walls and floors which are  feminine enough for me but also appropriate for hubby.Adore the greys, taupes and old wood touches.All I would add are bouquets of pink flowers and maybe some cushions in toile or faded damask and we're done .More here.

These lovely images of asian/asian inspired ceramics are just a few of my favorites found on flickr. I have always loved the delicate ornamentation on sake and tea cups and rice bowls. In fact, my hubby and I on a trip to Thailand years ago lugged home a complete china set we bought in Chang Mai and boy are they well used. Lovely to look at and very durable too.
