Artist:Angela Bently Fife

I think the paintings of Angela Fife  exude a dark feminine grace with a retro feel. She states on her site that "much of her work is created out of her own confusion of stereotypes, roles and expectations that surround us and shift with time". Perhaps I'm missing the point but these seem completely unambiguous......and lovely. Images from here.

I have loved the work of Thaneeya McArdle since the first time I saw it  years ago.She is an amazing photorealistic painter and I love how she embellishes her animaux works with images of dictionary text, astrology and indian motifs.
