The H'mong are an Asian ethnic group from the mountainous regions of Laos, Thailand , Burma and Vietnam. There are subcultures among the H'mong that are represented by various appliques and embroidery in their dress. I am absolutely floored by their textiles and head gear.The multiple colors and layering style are so beautiful it puts our ideas of haute couture to shame, in my opinion. I'mm of to see what I can find on ebay.I must own some of this cloth.....Love.
