Flowers Chic and Cheap by Carlos Mota

I recently stumbled upon this gorgeous little book at my local library.Carlos Mota is a New York flower stylist ( for lack of a better term) and in this book he features some really innovative and informal ways to display bouquets. The book gives how to's with pictures to easily illustrate his methods.

Melamine plates

I am in the market for some new outdoor dishes of the melamine variety so did a quick cyber search and came up with a stunning array to choose from. I'm frankly overwhelmed.Some of my faves are here but wouldn't it be fun to have a couple of each?  I love a mixed up collection of tableware....not so matchy-matchy. Sources here:
