Faded Grandeur

These magnificent old Dames are a selection of images from medieval castles, merchant houses, edwardian theaters, victorian dance halls and elizabethan country houses in the UK. Really, no one does faded grandeur like the UK, in my opinion.All those wonderful old buildings just sitting there.Our farmhouse here in Connecticut dates back to 1750, something we revel in here in the US but in Europe that would be considered ridiculously pedestrian.
