Decor: Vintage Vavoom

Vintage Vavoom is a great little decorating book by the editors of Romantic Homes Magazine. Lots of fanciful yet nostalgic images on view that are quirky without being corny or overly kitschy. I just noticed the image with the chinese lanterns is upside down....oops. Cute shoes tho'.......

Photography: Old Japan by T. Enami

I stumbled on these gorgeous photos of old Japan during a recent flickr foray. They were taken by T. Enami, who was a "photographer's photographer" during the late 1800's to early 1900's. I love the old stereograph/viewfinder patina and the handpainted coloring. Aren't those Japanese bathing beauties quaint? See more here.

Artist: Eliza Piro

Love the Indian motifs used in Eliza Piro's images. The attention to detail reminiscent of Indian textiles and embroidery, one of my passions as well, really speak to me. See more work by this talented Australian artist here.

Shop: Jasna Janekovic

I was so charmed by Jasna Janekovic's photostream that  I got a bit carried away and posted ( probably too ) many images of her absolutely adorable apartment in Koln, Germany. She also sells her cute handsewn "pouches" and purses in her Dewana shop....and how about that polka dot fridge? Brilliant!
