Shoes for the Uninhibited.

As with any female I adore shoes.In fact, I spent quite a few hours oogling the new fall collections at Barneys last week and fell in love with some boots I really have to have...but that's for another post.The shoes presented here are wickedly over the top but such fun to look at. Some of them even look, well, quite painful to wear.I think I'll just stick to my comfortable flats for now and admire these humdingers from afar.Images from here.

Justine Hugh Jones is an Australian interior designer who creates rooms that aren't overly feminine ( not that I don't love my share of frills and frou frou) and hence would meet with  hubby's approval. Yet she infuses her rooms with a really soothing zen like feel. Also, I'm totally in love with the beautifully spare still life painting and it's just right placement on the fireplace mantel in the first image. Just perfect....
