Artist: Layla Luna

I'm always drawn to artwork that features patterns, especially of the filigreed kind .The work of Layla Luna encompasses her love of nature, especially of the avian type, and vintage wallpaper. So naturally I was enchanted. She has also started The Nest Egg Art Project which aids in the preservation of bird species facing extinction by donating part of the proceeds from certain exhibitions to nature conservatory interests. Wonderful work for a great cause. More here.

Romantic Home

Here's a lovely little cottage that exudes romance and charm. The bunk beds lifted off the floor to leave room for a sink and desk beneath is too clever and adds a magical touch to this fairy-tale cottage. Images from here via the wonderful Geisslien
