Chateau De Verrieres

So how would you like to live in a quaint little castle?...Yup, me too.Especially if it's in the Loire valley and relatively close to Paris.This wonderful old castle has recently been completely restored to almost exactly the way it looked when it was built for Napoleon as his retirement home. Just love all that intricate wood panelling and that grand staircase with the gorgeous stained glass windows. All images from here.

Dior Couture Spring 2010

Here's a little Dior Spring couture to wake up the eye balls this morning. In all honesty I could never wear any of these except maybe the ball gowns, not that I'd have the occasion to do so. The skirts on some of the outfits are a bit too flouncy for me. However artistically I love the silhouettes and the ruffle detailing. All lovely to look at for sure.Images from here.
