How I love vibrant hand painted pottery....When we travel, I always gravitate towards the ceramic stores.I've brought back pottery from Tuscany and Spain, from our honeymoon in Portugal, schlepped from the hinterlands of Thailand and even from remote parts of Africa.Every country seems to have their own unique way of expressing themselves with this age old craft .A couple of places I'm dying to visit just for the pottery: Turkey and Morocco. Any other pottery lovers out there?

Shop: Virginia Graham
These beautiful ceramics by Virginia Graham makes me want to take up tea drinking. Love the floral pattern embellishment combined with dots and stripes. Contemporary coexisting with old English traditional. Brilliant...

Asian Ceramics
These lovely images of asian/asian inspired ceramics are just a few of my favorites found on flickr. I have always loved the delicate ornamentation on sake and tea cups and rice bowls. In fact, my hubby and I on a trip to Thailand years ago lugged home a complete china set we bought in Chang Mai and boy are they well used. Lovely to look at and very durable too.
